Jolani — Standards against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Zero‑tolerance commitment
Jolani strictly prohibits any content, behavior, or activity involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM), exploitation, grooming, solicitation of minors, sextortion, or the sexualization of minors. We remove such content immediately, ban involved accounts, and cooperate with lawful investigations.
Adults‑only policy
- Age requirement: Jolani is for adults (18+) only. Minors are not permitted to use the app.
- Age misrepresentation: Any suspicion of underage use or misrepresented age results in immediate review and removal.
- Preventive design: Age gates, reporting controls, rate limits, and content filters reduce risk and enable rapid intervention.
Prohibited content and conduct
- CSAM: Any depiction or sexualization of minors in images, videos, text, or links.
- Grooming and solicitation: Attempts to initiate sexual contact or manipulate minors online.
- Sextortion: Coercion, threats, or blackmail involving minors.
- Facilitation: Sharing instructions or communities that enable CSAE.
Reporting and user tools
- In‑app reporting: Users can report profiles, messages, and media directly within the app.
- Email reporting: Report suspected CSAE via jolani.app@gmail.com.
- Anonymous reports: Accepted and reviewed with equal priority.
Moderation, takedown, and enforcement
- Rapid triage: CSAE reports are prioritized for immediate review.
- Swift removal: Confirmed violations are removed without delay; accounts are suspended or banned.
- Repeat offenders: Permanently banned and blocked from re‑registration where feasible.
- Evidence preservation: Relevant data may be preserved securely to comply with lawful requests.
Cooperation with law enforcement
- Legal compliance: We cooperate with lawful investigations and valid legal process.
- Jurisdictional response: We respond to lawful requests consistent with applicable laws and our privacy commitments.
Staff training and accountability
- Ongoing training: Moderation staff receive training to identify CSAE indicators and handle reports responsibly.
- Quality controls: Periodic audits ensure consistent enforcement and continuous improvement.
